To learn about informing systemic narrative change  Juanique  stepped out her original field of study in Journalism and spent over a decade  consulting to various organisation. Under the banner of 'Social Intel' she assisted stakeholders in social justice, climate adaptation and responsible governance in diversifying communications strategies. Clients include the Canadian and UK governments as well as business and NPOs in South Africa, Rome, Spain, USA and Hawaii. Engagement areas encompass communications, advocacy, policy analysis, fundraising, organisational development,  exponential technology integration, social entrepreneurship, youth skills development and responsible investment. 

Focused on inclusive development through media psychology, after studying at the Institute of Futures Research she adopted the Biomatrix Theory for Social and Organisational Change as the foundational strategy for systems change in her work. She is currently editing her first futurism-themed book: Beyond the Paradox, focused on applying a systems worldview to narrative change. Against the backdrop of the concepts posthumanism and transhumanism it explores the ramifications of Africa’s absence from the global dialectic. Themes introduced include the impact of media psychology and consumer culture on social innovation. Juanique is also a director of the newly founded NPO Centre for Analytics & Behavioural Change ( CABC).
