CENTRE FOR ANALYTICS & BEHAVIOURAL CHANGE

Juanique is a director of CABC, founded by Dr Camaren Peter. In antithesis to 'Cambridge Analytica-style' data mining ethos, the not-for-profit's aim is to catalyse behavioural change that brings about environmental resource sustainability, socio-economic development and social cohesion. While seeds of its formation had been over a decade in the making, it was officially registered in 2017.

THREE PILLARS OF CABC -
 1. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT:

Research and cutting edge data analytics will be conducted on how best to stimulate and sustain behavioural change for a particular theme or sector. Methodologies and platforms (i.e. technologies, applications, etc.) will be developed on the basis of research and refined through learning from implementation.

 2. RAISING AWARENESS:
CABC will proactively engage in strategic, data-driven, targeted communications using fact-checked, evidence-based information. It will actively identify misinformation trends and counter them directly through a variety of distribution channels that target individuals and small groups with customised messaging.

 3.MOBILISATION:
Mobilisation involves seeding and growing communities of interest and practice that enable peer-to-peer learning, shifts in practice and collective, networked action. These encourage grass-roots democratic participation, social cohesiveness and unity. Mobilisation will also be facilitated through the absorption of products such as online applications and low-cost technologies that enable behavioural change.
